It means laminate sheets pressed under high pressure. These sheets, which are also known as Formica, consist of different layers of kraft paper. In the production process of these sheets, different layers of kraft paper along with the final cover of the sheet are impregnated with thermoset resins and are transformed into a dense and integrated sheet at high temperature and pressure. The resins used in these resins, with their high stability and chemical resistance, cause adhesion, stable and irreversible bonding of the different layers used in HPL sheets. For this reason, different atmospheric effects have no effect on these sheets and do not reduce their quality over time
